Hiring Commercial Electricians in Austin, TX

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Electrician to join our team and contribute to various projects involving new construction schools. This role involves working with electrical systems, ensuring safe and efficient installations, and collaborating with a dedicated team of professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Bend and install pipes and conduits according to project specifications.
• Pull wire, specifically 200' of 3/4 conduit daily.
• Install lighting fixtures and handle terminations.
• Read and interpret blueprints to execute tasks accurately.
• Utilize standard electrical tools and a cordless drill for installations.

Essential Skills:

• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience as an electrician in a commercial setting.
• Proficiency in reading technical drawings and blueprints.
• Experience with electrical wiring, conduit bending, and pulling cable.
• Knowledge of industrial and commercial electrical systems.

Work Environment:

Work hours are Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 3:30/4 PM, with potential overtime and weekend shifts as needed. The role requires working on new construction school sites in Buda and Kyle, Texas. Safety is a priority; therefore, adherence to a dress code including steel-toed boots, vests, hard hats, and safety glasses is mandatory at all times on site.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Austin, TX.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $41.79 - $87.76/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
