Job Description

POSITION TITLE: Physical Therapist with First Steps

DIVISION: Therapy


SUPERVISOR: Regional First Steps Manager


CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt


STATUS: Contract Full and Part-Time


PURPOSE:

The Physical Therapist is responsible for physical therapy evaluation and treatment to First Steps patients. This includes preparing and maintaining records and reports on patient evaluations and plans of treatments.

• Schedule and conduct physical therapy evaluations and continued therapy services.
• Evaluate therapy results and make recommendations regarding treatment.
• Provide guidance to Physical Therapy Assistants.
• Maintain accurate records and data tracking of patient treatments.
• Maintain great communication and professional relationships with clients, family members, and co-workers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in physical therapy (Required)
2. Must be a currently licensed physical therapist in the State of Indiana (Required)
3. Driver's license (Preferred)
4. Good Communicator, Dependable, and Compassionate!
